Contemporary Craft in New England

New England is the hub of contemporary craft in America. We will have the chance to go behind the scenes at the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton, with its excellent collections and exhibitions. At our second meeting we will visit Craft Boston, organized by the venerable Society of Arts and Crafts, and have a private tour with SAC director Beth Gerstein. We will have the chance to meet craftspeople from all over the country, working in glass, clay, textiles, furniture, metals, and other media who will be happy to explain the construction and meaning of their art.
