Bringing Green to the Classroom

Gardening and kids are a natural fit. With Dave Epstein, horticulturalist and meteorologist you will spend two days in the field learning about all aspects green--from how to build a terrarium with your students to starting a garden for your school. Dave will explore with you growing your own food, making compost, ideal plants for the class, local flora, container gardening, how to start seeds, testing germination rates and a bit on meteorology, climate and plants.
