M02 -
Supplementing AP Calculus

While there is a lot of great math behind and in Common Core and PARCC, there are often issues with implementation and also dangers in becoming test-focused. In this class we will discuss some of these challenges and describe in great depth a variety of problems which can be used to supplement the standard syllabus and (hopefully!) excite both students and teachers as to the power of calculus in particular and mathematics in general.
