Envisioning Science: More Than Pretty Pictures

Scientific writing, for the purpose of communicating to others, encourages one to create an order of comprehension. So it is with the visual expression of scientific concepts. I will discuss through my own work how the process of visually representing scientific concepts clarifies the understanding of science. In presenting my own "successes" and "failures", we will work as a group through various exercises, to develop useful methods for the classrooms.
